The project "Vaikuntam" by Featherlite is located at Urapakkam, Chennai.
A total of about 500 (84 units in Phase 1) residential units is planned to be constructed
in Stilt + 4 floors.
The residential units are to come up in 5 blocks.
There are no known Online Communities (Groups/Portals) for Owners of Featherlite Vaikuntam.

Featherlite Vaikuntam is a residential apartment complex spread over 7.5 acres on the GST Road at Urapakkam.

|I have visited the site and blocked a flat. There was a huge crowd on Sunday Oct 14 at the site office and nearly all flats were booked, according to the promoters. The site is right on GST Road. I could see progress in terms of foundation being laid for block 1, which is expected to be handed over Sep 2011. Block 1 is the most interior block, so no noise or pollution from GST, however it is close tot he railway track. I waited and checked for 2 trains to pass. All trains are electric trains and the site is at the midpoint of Urapakkam and Guduvanchery stations, so there is not much noise from horn blowing etc. Running trains do not make much noise due to electric traction.

|ya, I am also booked the one flat on 17th Oct 2010, I am also booked the house in train view, I have check with nearest sterling building, according to them no noise if close the door.
sterling build is distance from train track only 50 sqft but vaikuntam black 1 distance more than 150 sqft

I have booked a flat in Block B.
1. Till date - the approvals are not in place
2. There has been a delay in completion of Block A
3. I was told Block A delivery shall be made along with the landscaping as per the plan, I have not seen any action there
4. However Block is almost ready now, I can say upto 98%, there has been 8 Griha pravesham as per the Feathelite executive
5. The delivery date for Block B is still not commited - though at the time of booking I was told it shall be readu by June.
6. I hope the purchaser's understand that the road to Setrling shall be through the Featherlite property
7.Akhaya property is almost complete
8. Also I have seen that most of the flyovers over the railway track are also almost complete
I would be happy to receive any mails from any owners at firstname.lastname@example.org. I plan to be there this Sunday and will take and post the latest pictures

| i as nri purchased a flat at ph one till date no handing over further they say u can take poss..by april14 tamil yr day till date no electricity we are not able to do the interior approach road to perform the grahapravasam ther is 8hrs power cut no back up elecricity provision ...the partner mr.jawahar is not avaible to have a talk one sr.exec is commming every friday and saturday to make payments to workers not e ther are some difficulties in handing over ....asper recent u have to pay service tax before 31.3.12 at lower rate i f u pay later april the rage is higher 12% we r sufferring in paying the preemi inter portion up to 27000per month to banks who helped us to get the loan

|Can anyone let me know if the road in between block C and Block D is a Private road belonging to FeatherLite?. I heard that currently this road is running in between C and D blocks for construction purposes and later on this will be blocked and a compound wall will be constructed restricting this only to Vaikuntam. Also, they mentioned in future, after the construction is complete the road to sterling apartments in the back ,will be between feather lite and Akshaya compound.
The way Akshaya Builders have laid their compounds doesn't seem like there will be a side road to the apartments at the back, instead there will be road in between C and D blocks.
Also, I heard that they have got the approvals for the remaining blocks last week.
Please share your updates.

|We have also booked an apartment in block b.now they got the approval and asked for modification requirements in the plan.does anyone got the electrical drawings.now they are saying that the handing over will only in december...they should reduce the cost incured to us in interest rate becoz of the delay in approval?has anyone got any discounts becoz of that

|DEVELOPER MISLEADS by unfair trade practice - conceals from the buyers the Easement rights (common pathway) through the vaikuntam flats to reach the sterling Apts. and other adjoining flats located at the back of vaikuntam flats and before the railway track. visit : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eyi8ZLUau8 [youtube.com] I advice not to buy a flat at this site because of the following problem we face here.
1. There is NO SAFETY Any stranger can enter the apartment due to the common pathway.

3. Reasently few bikes were stolen inspite of the security but no action taken from the association
4. Even the water has to be purchased from private lorry. only one borewell for the total 108 flats in E Block
5. Heavy menace of mosquitoes due to water logging in the nearby cannal.
6. The OTS areas are misused to develop extra car parking slots.
7. It is not a safe investment.
